50 projects finished in 6 months

Made it.......you can see them at ravelry...user name CoppaTop

Left some at my ruffle scarves at my massage therapist office as she offered to display and try and sell them, I thought $20 was reasonable, but apparently it's expensive and one person commented they got one for $5, would even cover the cost of the yarn in most cases, so only 1 sold.  Perhaps I am better concentrating on cute hats for babies :-/

50 in six months? Well done.

I'm sure those who thought your work expensive would quite happily buy at your prices from the chemist or other store. Some have just no idea of material costs, let alone adding workmanship into the equation.

I had much the same reaction a few years ago when I ran a small canteen at a tertiary college. I had good yarn, even if most of it was from stash, I studied the students and made similar garments and styles, mostly just hats and scarves. Priced between $15-25 which was much the same as chainstores and similar but less than fashion shops.

Almost nothing sold, although everything was attractively presented and admired.
